Nasdaq-listed AI and blockchain company AIxCrypto has named Andrew Grossman as its new head of legal.

In the role, Grossman will oversee the company’s legal, compliance and governance functions, which include the management of SEC disclosures, fund and investment compliance,digital assetand Web3 protocol architecture as well as major strategic and commercial agreements.

He enters the role with extensive experience in securities regulation,digital assetecosystem architecture, strategic corporate structuring, IP strategy and governance.

The appointment follows on from the company’s rebrand from Qualigen Therapeutics to AIxCrypto in November to mark the shift from a traditional biotechnology company to a technology enterprise.

Staying in the world of blockchain technology, Securitize,a provider of tokenized real-world assets, has appointed Jerome Roche as its new general counsel.

Roche joins the company from PayPal where he served as head of legal for digital assets. During his tenure he helped launch PayPal USD (PYUSD), a US-dollar denominated stablecoin.

Prior to PayPal, Roche held senior legal roles at Linklaters, Mayer Brown, TIAA-CREF and WilmerHale.

Elsewhere, NW Natural, a provider of natural gas distribution utilities, has confirmed the retirement of incumbent general counsel MardiLyn Saathoff.

After almost 18 years with the company, Saathoff will officially exit the role on April 1, 2026, to be succeeded by Megan Berge as SVP and general counsel, as well as chief compliance officer and corporate secretary.

Saathoff joined the company in 2008 and served as chief governance officer and corporate secretary before being appointed general counsel in 2015.

Prior to joining NW Natural, Saathoff’s held legal roles at Tektronix, Danaher Corporation and Stoel Rives. She also spent four years with the Oregon Department of Justice and the administration of Oregon Governor Kulongoski.

Staying in North America, Canadian gold producer Hemlo Mining has named Carl DeLuca as its general counsel and corporate secretary.

DeLuca enters the role with than 25 years of legal and public company experience. He most recently served as general counsel and corporate secretary at Li-Cycle, an NYSE-listed EV battery recycling company.

Before that, DeLuca held the same role at Detour Gold, a TSX-listed gold producer and earlier served in various senior legal positions at Vale SA’s global base metals business, including head of legal for North American and UK operations.

Over in Australia, DTI Group, a provider of integrated surveillance systems, has appointed Jack Rosagro as its new company secretary.

In a filing to the Australian Stock Exchange, the company confirmed that Rosagro will take over from Harry Miller, who has stepped down from the role.

Prior to joining DTI, Rosagro served as company secretary and corporate adviser at Automic Group. Before that he was company secretary at Metal Powder Works, Qoria, Harvest Technology Group and Schrole Group.

He is also a fellow member of the Governance Institute of Australia
