People moves: Allen Lo leaves Meta and joins Madison Square Garden Entertainment

Plus Aquestive Therapeutics and QuidelOrtho have appointed new legal chiefs

Madison Square Garden Entertainment and Sphere Entertainment have announced that Allen Lo has been named EVP, chief legal officer for both companies.

With more than 30 years of legal experience, Lo joins the company from Meta where he served as VP, legal and deputy general counsel. Prior to joining Meta, Lo served as deputy general counsel, patents and IP litigation at Google. Before that, he was deputy general counsel and VP, legal affairs at Juniper Networks.

Lo started his career at the US Patent and Trademark Office, before joining Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, an intellectual property law firm.

In this new role, Lo will report to Jim Dolan, the executive chairman and CEO of both MSG Entertainment and Sphere Entertainment.

Staying in the US, pharmaceutical company Aquestive Therapeutics has confirmed the appointment of Thomas Zalewski as chief legal officer and chief compliance officer. Zalewski succeeds Lori Braender, who will be stepping down as chief legal officer and chief compliance officer while remaining as the company’s corporate secretary.

Zalewski joins Aquestive from Day Pitney LLP where he served as partner and chair of the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice.Over his career, Zalewski has also served as outside general counsel to emerging and middle-market companies and previously served as a senior member of the legal team at Dendrite International.

QuidelOrtho, a manufacturer of diagnostic healthcare products has named Nathaniel Sisitsky as its new chief legal officer. Sisitsky will report to Brian Blaser, president and CEO, and will lead QuidelOrtho’s global legal, compliance and corporate governance functions.

He joins QuidelOrtho from STAAR Surgical Company where he served as chief legal officer and corporate secretary. He also held roles as SVP, general counsel and corporate secretary at NuVasive and CareFusion Corporation.

Sisitsky succeeds Michelle Hodges, who is retiring.

Over at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) the company has quietly promoted Andrew Marcus to general counsel, replacing James Hunter who a few weeks ago confirmed his retirement.

Marcus previously served as MVW’s SVP and deputy general counsel; he started at the company as SVP and associate general counsel in 2015.

Prior to this he served as principal at Aran Management and before that as chief operating officer at Tempus Resorts International.

Elsewhere, Clear Secure, abiometric identity technology company, has confirmed that Lynn Haaland, the company’s general counsel and chief privacy officer is to exit her role on April 3. Haaland has been with the company since July 2024.

Prior to this she worked for Zoom as chief privacy officer, deputy general counsel, product and AI. She initially joined the company as chief privacy, compliance and ethics officer, deputy general counsel back in 2020.

Lastly, in Toronto, Postmedia Network Canadaannounced the permanent appointment of Wendy Kelley as chief legal officer and corporate secretary.

Kelley joined the company in Autumn of 2025 as interim general counsel and corporate secretary.

She enters the role with over 25 years of senior legal and executive experience. he previously served as Interim CEO of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council, general counsel and corporate secretary at Kruger Products and Biovail. She also held senior legal and risk roles at BMO Financial Group.
